Before we became Nex Xzit, we were ALIAS, featuring Marguerite. ALIAS is an acronym for Artistically, Lyrically, Inspiring, All, Souls. This song was written and recorded in 1997, but was never officially released. It was dedicated to the memory of the Late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and in commemoration Black History Month. Marguerite's passionate lyrical and vocal performance, along with excepts from an Historical Speech from Dr. King, Music with a distinct Ethnic Flavor, written by Michael Gedown Brown and Chris Smith with African Percussions by Nana Frimpong are highlighted in "An Anthem From Your Soul" Come On Everybody Sing Along, An Anthem From Your Soul!
